Visit FileForums It has the potential but like many builder games they do not go sandbox like machinecraft seeing players there pick machinecraft over garrys mod. I love dream car, i just want more tools and parts because this game and its commuinty is pretty sold none like machinecraft with its endless bugs and glitchs as well as a bad commuinty( however the commuinty from what i was told is getting kinda nicer )Īs you can see dream car is not too far off. Random van example of interior but gives you an idea.( everything but the wheels even though you can make your own was made ingame ) Machinecraft's lamborghini ( including all of its counter parts ) commuinty below 100 and I have a ton more if you would like to see, i will have to reupload them however as they are old. The parts can also be scale if you want to build small or large things to help reduce time but is not need as i also created this build below with defualt size, the machine size is that of a solo tool thank you merge and coupler tools. The game also allows transparent parts (transparent parts that will also phase through objects everything but selds does this as they are used to grab, walk and apply fricton to toched objects) This is one of my older work shop builds from machinecraft yet i was able to build a walker and a small one at that from the bottom up with its own assign keys and actions using parts the game providie, It walks it runs, it has emo actions, jumps, and so on. Like me I like to create everything even the wheels and I find this a thorn in my side when I attach my wheel to the wheel and it still does not spin thus enforcing me to have to attach thrusters at angles to my custom wheel to force it to spin forwards/ backwards. Its like asking to not have a hinge attached to a piston so you can use them both seperate if you wish it. Its not complex, this is giving players more freedom if the Dev wishes. The game also has a command system kinda like dream car where you can assign keys but at a larger scale as well as the ablity to give parts commands and assign keys aka -> commands. If you were to look at the games work shop you will see a ton of builds spaning from all ranges. Having more freedom and parts also attracts players seeing both games have an ingame tool system to create such things.Įmitters ( can be used for smoke effects or upload one, now u can have the engine in the from and have smoke coming out the back ) Although the player list of that game is surely below 100( has a bad commuinty that killed it ) the game gives you the in game tools and commands that dream car is not too far off with allow players to make really in depth builds. MachineCraft is a wonderful example of what you can do if you gave the player parts and commands.
